“Shallow you say? Please. I’m not just shallow. I’m deeply shallow.” It’s how Brandon Wilde likes to describe himself. This young man is heir to one of Storybrooke’s richest man, Edward Wilde. So, naturally, Bran has no interest in taking a job at the age of 25, simply because he doesn’t have to. He’s pretty happy with the easy life he’s got going on. Investing quite some time into taking care of his flawless self and singing in the very expansive studio his daddy had made for him right beside his room. Bran doesn’t have a single care in the world. Everything he wants just happens in the blink of an eye, and if it doesn’t right away.. well, he’s sure it will eventually. You might think he’s not very liked around the little town because of his self-centered ways, but he’s got quite the fan club of superficial girls going for him, and just as many friends too. Despite his ego, Brandon surprisingly makes people around him comfortable; all it takes is a show of his perfect white teeth along with a dazzling smile, funny remarks and his usual routine of showing how life is fraught-less when you’re thoughtless to those surrounding him. Most people have layers, but that doesn’t seem to be Brandon’s case. All he cares about is the exterior and has no sign of having an interior to match his looks. The boy is just dancing through life.
In fairytale world, Brandon was once known as Prince Fiyero Tiggular, the ever so cocky prince of Arjiki who was known for his outer perfection and superficiality. However, he has a complete change of heart once he gets to know Elphaba, the green girl from Munchkinland with a special gift. Fiyero started to see the world with different eyes, and his love for the Wicked Witch of the West caused him to be captured by the Wizard’s guard. Before his execution, Elphaba casted a spell and turned him into a Brainless Scarecrow stuffed with straw, so the guardsmen’s stabs would do him no harm.
